The mission of Baptist Health Foundation is to inspire philanthropy and build extraordinary donor relationships in support of excellence, innovation, community wellness and global leadership in healthcare at Baptist Health South Florida, a not-for-profit organization supported by philanthropy and committed to our faith-based charitable mission of medical excellence.
By collaborating with donors and volunteers, Baptist Health Foundation supports and expands Baptist Health's ability to provide outstanding patient care and bring the latest treatments to patients and families affected by a serious illness. Donor contributions also allow the Foundation to assist Baptist Health facilities in keeping pace with technology and equipment advances, perform cutting-edge research and offer continuing education opportunities to medical staff.
There are numerous meaningful opportunities to help Baptist Health pursue excellence and reach new heights in healthcare, now and in the future.

Miami Cancer Institute brings together world-class cancer experts and an unmatched dedication to multidisciplinary patient care, cutting-edge technology and innovative cancer treatments.
The Institute is one of the few cancer treatment centers in the world to provide every available radiation therapy technology in one location. We also are the only facility in South Florida – and one of the few in the nation – to offer proton therapy, an innovative treatment that targets cancer cells with pinpoint precision, avoiding healthy tissue. These advanced therapies are delivered by the most skilled radiation oncologists in the field.
Philanthropy is so integral to Miami Cancer Institute, it’s included among our “10 Pillars of Care.” At the Institute, donors support groundbreaking research to give cancer patients a lifesaving edge. Donors also help fund therapeutic programs and services that alleviate the burden cancer places on patients and families. Innovative research trials and beneficial support programs are often not funded by government or reimbursed by insurance. This is why generous donors play a major role in improving the lives of cancer patients and their families.
