Bowl For Kids Sake 2024

CenterPoint Energy

"CenterPoint Energy's legacy of wholehearted engagement with the Bowl for Kids Sake annual event spans many years, forging a profound connection between our organization and this noble cause. Our active involvement transcends mere participation, as we rally several dynamic teams representing diverse departments within our company. This vibrant internal camaraderie sparks a spirited fundraising competition that fuels our collective dedication to making a significant impact.

As we eagerly look ahead to the grand stage of the 2024 Bowl for Kids Sake, our enthusiasm knows no bounds. Our commitment to supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters remains unwavering, serving as the compass guiding our actions. But, we don't stop there. In the spirit of continuous growth and impact, we have ambitious plans to expand our involvement further. With the addition of new locations and an extended array of time slots, we aspire to amplify our support for the incredible work that Big Brothers Big Sisters does.

This forthcoming year represents not only an opportunity to uphold tradition but also a chance to push our limits, strengthen our unity, and bolster our commitment to fostering brighter futures for young lives. We are resolute in our determination to leave an indelible mark of positive change, and we can't wait to unite even more CenterPoint Energy teams in this inspiring journey, as we join hands with the 2024 BFKS event to make a lasting difference in the lives of children in our community."

Capital Electric

“This was the first year Capital Electric participated in the Bowl for Kids’ Sake event. We used this opportunity as a team-building event and had two teams. It was a great way for us to give back to the community and have fun as a team outside of work. We had some friendly competition between teams to see who could raise the most money for Big Brothers Big Sisters. The Bowl For Kids Sake event is organized very well with fun themes and prize giveaways for the participants. We highly recommend this event to local businesses as a fun team-building outing all while helping children in our community reach their potential."

Old National Bank Bowling Team

"Bowl For Kids' Sake has become an annual tradition for the Old National IT team. It's an opportunity for our team members to come together outside of our daily work routine, enjoy a fun time, and contribute to a fantastic organization dedicated to the well-being of our community's youth. We've proudly participated in this event for nearly a decade, and over the years, we've established a tradition of engraving the winning team's name on a trophy that is passed from one team member to another."

Jason Long, Old National Bank

Pink Ladies Bowling Team

Bowl For Kids Sake is a wonderful event that we look forward to each year. Our team “Pink Ladies” was created in 2014 with a group of close friends. Each year we are remembered by many with our colorful pink shirts and not to mention our colorful personalities! This event is something dear to our hearts and hope that many more would see the huge impact that this creates on the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization. We would love to see more teams created and money raised for our local group. You can truly make a difference in the lives of the Big’s and Little’s and have lots of fun while you are at it. Grab your friends, coworkers, relatives and become a team captain for BFKS and join us at the alley!
