The Run, Walk & Roll events are our large community fundraisers for Marklund. This is the 8th year of the race at our Bloomingdale location, and we are excited to join you in-person for our Run/Walk at our Marklund Philip Center.

Need some language about Marklund? See below!

Marklund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Illinois that serves infants, children, teens and adults with serious and profound developmental disabilities and special healthcare needs. Marklund makes sure that their residents and community clients live safe, happy-filled lives with goals, achievements and purpose. Joining this event helps support Marklund’s mission in making everyday life possible for individuals with profound disabilities through the services and programs they offer individuals residentially, educationally, and vocationally, 24/7, every day of the year. For more information, visit www.marklund.org.
  • Set and Share Your Goal
Be sure to set a fundraising goal when you sign up for the race. The higher your fundraising goal, the larger the individual gift tends to be. Every $25 makes a community activity or outing possible for a resident, so why not set a goal of $100? $500?

  • By being a part of the Run, Walk & Roll, you will help us:

    • Fund Programs/Services.
    • Raise awareness of our life-affirming mission to make everyday life possible for individuals with profound disabilities.
    • Grow our community of ambassadors, volunteers, and donors who support Marklund.
    • Honor all of the clients Marklund serves.
