We are thrilled to invite you to join our Annual Community Leadership Breakfast!
Thursday, May 23rd, 7am-9am at the Santa Clara Marriott (2700 Mission College Blvd, Santa Clara)
The Community Leadership Breakfast is our council's biggest event supporting our Friends of Scouting campaign. Locally, Scouting is over 100 years strong, with mutually beneficial partnerships within the neighborhoods we serve. Over 9,000 youth are in our council along with 4,000 adult volunteer leaders.
The annual breakfast event is table-host driven, with the support of individuals, businesses, friends, and colleagues who gather for an inspiring morning. Past speakers include General Jim Mattis, Steve Young, Rick Barry, Randall Stephenson and Condoleezza Rice to name a few. Our keynote speaker this is year is Roger Krone, current President and the CEO of the Boy Scouts of America. He is an Eagle Scout, former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Leidos, served as president of Network and Space Systems for The Boeing Company, a member of the Georgia Tech Foundation Board of Trustees, the Board of the National Air and Space Museum, Lear board, and others.
With all that is happening real time in our world, we will hear from one of the most seasoned business leaders on the planet, it’s a frank and candid discussion you won’t want to miss.
For people who care about what is happening in the world and with our kids, Scouting is the premiere fun, exciting and challenging program that builds better young people. Scouting’s programs and outdoor adventures prepare our youth for a lifetime of integrity and leadership. Video games, social media, and phone addiction are impacting our kids in ways we could have never known in the past. Today is the day to help break that cycle with positive outdoor experiences, strong role models, and learning leadership skills that scouting teaches.

Today is the time to invest in our “BECAUSE TOMORROW MATTERS” campaign. Together we can have an exponential impact on our community through our kids who will be the leaders of tomorrow. Just $350 funds one “future leader” scout for a year. Your generosity funding 1, 2 or 3 scouts will have a direct and meaningful impact on these kids this year.
Your help is invaluable.
