Once again, we are using the OneCause registration platform. This is primarily geared for peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns. For our Table Host driven event, that is invitation only, we can show you your progress in real time.
- How do I register to become a Table Host?
- Click on the OneCause registration portal link below. From the home page, select Join or Start a Table and follow the prompts. It’s that easy.
- Can a Table Host register their own guests?
- This additional registration must be done when the team leader registers themselves initially.
- For example: typically, this feature is used for parents registering themselves and their children for an event. There is no way for someone to register a new member - best practice is that new participant needs to register themselves as it could cause login confusion and create an incorrect participant record. They can send the link to the register page and the new participant can sign up.
- Can you hand-track my guests for me on your end?
- For those who are reluctant to sign up on the portal, we are happy to hand track your guests. We do require, at minimum, an email contact. We prefer email AND cell phone, for any urgent communications which may be beyond our control and will impact the guest experience. We do not spam your guests.
- What if I can’t fill the table? Will I be shunned?
- Of course not! Like we ask our Cub Scouts—Do Your Best! We know some Table Hosts will fill and double-fill their tables, while others may get to half. Keep communicating with staff for helpful guidance to fill the room! We will provide updates about the event that will make it easy for your community connections to say YES, I want to support local Scouting by attending the inspiring breakfast.
- Do guests have to pay to register?
- There is no cost to register. Each guest will be asked to make a minimum contribution of $350 to support a Scout for the year. They may make this gift at the event itself through our traditional Table Host model.
- If my guest makes a gift in advance, will they be asked to give again?
- The hallmark of the Community Leadership Breakfast event is raising funds for local Scouting through community support. There will be dedicated time during the program for an inspiring ask for support. Guests who have prepaid their donation are often inspired to do more. An inspired gift is the best gift.
- How can I view who I have sent emails to from the platform?

- A guest registered at my table, but it shows that they are a team leader. What’s up with that?
- Due to the nature of peer-to-peer fundraising platform, a registered guest may be categorized as a Team Leader (Table Host) instead of a guest. If this happens, we will happily change this on the back-end to show them as a guest at your table.
- Where do I find my personal link/url to share with others?
- Go to your page and click on the link under your profile image. This will bring you to your page where you will see your url. Highlight it and copy/paste.
