PTEF is a grantmaking organization dedicated to inspiring learning, teaching, and community in Perry Township. We have funded over $1.3 million in grants since our founding in 1994.
What we're funding in 2018-19:
$40,000 in small grants up to $1,250 for creative & innovative classroom projects at every grade level
$7,000 for a trip to Connor Prairie to make Indiana history come to life for every fourth grader in the district
$6,000 in Kick-Start Grants to each Kindergarten Academy to fund much-needed literacy and math materials
$5,000 "Mega Grant" for the Perry Township Early Childhood Academy to build an outdoor lab and classroom for students to engage with their environment
$1,000 in Service Learning grants that empower our middle and high school students to become agents of change in their communities
Southport High School is pleased to partner with the Perry Township Education Foundation to support student teams and groups through direct peer-to-peer fundraising. No more door-to-door sales of cookie dough or wrapping paper. And 100% of your donation stays in the school district!
