Are donations tax-deductible?

Yes - all monetary donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

What is the FSHD Society's Tax ID number? 

A Tax ID number identifies the FSHD Society as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. The FSHD Society's Tax ID number is 52-1762747.

Who should checks be made out to?

Checks should be made out to: FSHD Society. 

Where should I mail donation checks?

Please mail all checks to:
FSHD Society: Department 960, PO Box 4106  Woburn, MA  01888-4106

Please include a small note that includes the name of the participant and the event location.

How do I receive a receipt for my donation?

If you made a donation online, you will receive an email receipt. If you make a donation by mail, you will receive a receipt by mail after the donation has been processed. If you need a copy of your receipt, please contact the FSHD Society at: FSHCommunity@fshdsociety.org, or 781-301-6060.

How can I send a Thank-You message to my donors?

If you have opted in to receive text notifications, you will receive a text as soon as someone donates via your page. Then, you will have the option to send them a thank-you email directly from your text messages!! You can always opt-in later by logging into your personal fundraising page. There is an option on your Dashboard called Notifications. Make sure the box is checked to use this option!

You can also send thank-yous to your donors from your personal fundraising page: Log in to the site, and in the top right hand corner, hover over your name and navigate to "Manage My Page." On the left side menu, choose "Raise at least $500," then click on the 3rd tab, called "Thank your donors." You will be able to see a list of all online donations, and send a personalized email to each donor. They will be marked as "Thanked" when you are done!
