Whoever cares for the poor lends to the Lord, who will pay back the sum in full.
(Proverbs 19:17)
This past year, you responded to God's call to serve more than 18,000 adults and children facing severe hardships. Their needs ranged from food and shelter to unemployment and mental health crises. Some were forced to leave an abusive situation with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Many were families with children seeking shelter, food and safety.
Unfortunately, again this year, more people than ever are turning to Catholic Charities in our community, the south central and southeast regions of Kansas.
Please make a gift to help our neighbors in need, working parents struggling to make ends meet, Veterans' families, domestic abuse survivors, senior citizens and adults with disabilities. Your gift will empower people by providing tangible assistance, like food, shelter and safety, while also offering training and counseling to help prevent the same crises again.
Your gift will do all of this, while protecting the dignity of each person who comes through the doors of Catholic Charities in need, and supporting them as they work to live self-sufficiently.
Give on Dec. 2, and your gift will be matched, maximizing the number of people you can impact.
Plus, 85% of every donated dollar will directly benefit people in need.
On #GivingTuesday, Dec. 3, your contribution will have double the impact as it will be matched, dollar-for-dollar.
