About Churchill Downs Trivia For Kids' Sake
For Kids' Sake is Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana's (BBBSKY) annual peer-to-peer fundraising campaign. Churchill Downs has been a longtime supporter and participant of For Kids' Sake events. Since 2021, Churchill Downs Incorporated and BBBSKY have picked one Friday in the summer to gather virtually and play trivia for a good cause. We call it Trivia For Kids' Sake!
Trivia for Kids' Sake is a fun and easy way to raise money to support BBBSKY's one-to-one mentorship programs and matches between youth mentees ("Littles") and volunteer mentors ("Bigs").
It takes a small amount of effort, yet it raises vital money for the success of our programs. This is an easy way for you to make an impact on our community!
PARTICIPATING IS EASY! JUST FOLLOW THESE STEPS:
Register online as an individual to participate. Then, you can create or join a team. If you have problems registering, reach out to Michael Kolodziej at michael.kolodziej@bbbsky.org.
Once you've registered, a fundraising page is created for you with built-in tools to fundraise via social media, email or text. If you're on Facebook, make sure to create a Facebook fundraiser from your page. All money raised on Facebook will be automatically connected to your For Kids' Sake campaign!
Invite your friends, family, and coworkers to give towards your goal! Make sure they check to see if their company matches employee donations. You can search on the donation form.
Reach your goal and get ready to show you are the quizmaster! You will receive a link to join virtual trivia on Friday, July 18th, 2025. You and your team will compete against groups of other Churchill Down Incorporated employees. A host of grand prizes will be announced soon!
