The Charger Challenge campaign, running from January 24, 2025, through February 3, 2025, provides every OLSH student with opportunities that go above and beyond what tuition alone can cover. This year, the actual cost of educating a student at OLSH is $17,700, which is $4,700 more than our tuition fee of $13,000. Your generous contributions make it possible to fulfill our mission: preparing students for a life of exceptional Christian leadership, stewardship, and service to all.
OLSH students began this iteration of Charger Challenge, our online peer-to-peer campaign, in 2021 with an ambitious goal to raise $100,000 annually. Year after year, they’ve surpassed expectations, collectively deciding on the next year’s goal. For Year Five of Charger Challenge, they’re dreaming even bigger with a target of $139,000!

As we celebrate Charger Challenge Year Five, we’re inspired by the unwavering dedication of our students and the generosity of our community. Together, we’re raising the bar to ensure every OLSH student thrives!
The name Charger Challenge has its roots in the mid-1990s, when OLSH students participated in a letter-writing campaign to connect with relatives, neighbors, and businesses to raise funds for their school. Back then, the campaign culminated in a celebration at Youthtowne, recognizing the students’ hard work and dedication.
Fast forward to today, and while the tradition has evolved, the spirit remains the same. We are the OLSH Chargers, and our students are challenged to raise funds that honor their school and help ensure its continued excellence. Now, the campaign happens entirely online, but the celebrations are just as exciting! From class field trips to personal prizes, Charger Challenge inspires school pride, community involvement, and a bit of friendly competition, all for a great cause.
Participating in Charger Challenge offers OLSH students much more than just the excitement of incentives and prizes. While they enjoy competing for class field trips, personal rewards, and bragging rights, they also gain a deeper understanding of:
