Welcome! Thanks for checking out Cheers for Wishes…
Join us on October 19, 2019 at Weddington High School in Matthews, NC for a Cheer and Stunt Clinic benefiting Make-A-Wish® Central and Western North Carolina. All funds raised from this event will help grant wishes right here in our local communities! We hope you'll join us to learn from some of the top athletes and coaches in the industry.
All athletes (age 12+) are invited to join, beginner to elite. Registration is $35 per athlete! Learn from top athletes in the industry and receive valuable feedback. The staff is joining us from 4 different competitive collegiate programs and have coached and critiqued teams all over the world (including Team USA, Team Finland, and Team Canada).
College Recruitment Opportunities: Current Collegiate Cheer Coaches will also be in attendance and will be looking for your athletes to join their collegiate teams.
Your participation in Cheers for Wishes will allow your athletes to see the difference they can make while doing the sport they are passionate about. Make-A-Wish creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. Our local chapter grants more than 385 wishes per year, just within the 51 counties they serve. At an average cost of $6,000 per wish, it takes events like Cheers for Wishes, and teams like YOURS to make each wish a reality.

Connection to Make-A-Wish
Make-A-Wish®Central and Western North Carolina creates life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses. The foundation hosts an annual women’s initiative called the W.I.S.H. Society. The name stands for Women Inspiring Strength & Hope and the program celebrates women who do just that. Each year, dynamic and genuine women are honored for their philanthropic contributions, career success, partnership with Make-A-Wish, and any number of other qualifications. Kaylee was selected as a 2018 W.I.S.H. Society Honoree. Over the course of a 2-month campaign, she raised more than $6,000 to represent granting a child's wish.
As a member of the W.I.S.H. Society, Kaylee has created Cheers for Wishes to continue raising funds to grant wishes. All proceeds from Cheers for Wishes, Cheer and Stunt Clinic will directly benefit Make-A-Wish Central and Western North Carolina.
