About Get Your Move On

What's YOUR move?

Get Your Move On is celebrating the many different ways we keep our bodies active. Whether an exhilarating bike ride or a soothing session of Qigong, or a stroll down the block, activity is essential to a healthy happy life at any age.
Capitol Hill Village encourages all adults to live full and engaged lives which include exercise and movement. Inspired by former Board Member Jon Genderson who was an avid cyclist, this event includes all forms of activity. In groups or solo, participants of all ages can meet goals through regular activities or take up new challenges.
You can help by registering as a participant and logging your active minutes. Share your progress with friends and family, and ask them to support you and Capitol Hill Village with a donation. You can also invite others to join you as part of a team!

How to Register

  • Select the Register button and create an account (or choose “I already have an account” if applicable).
  • Choose Join a Team, Start a Team, or Register as an Individual. Not sure about a team just yet? That’s OK – you can always start or join one later!
  • Fill in the required information and follow the registration path by selecting “Next” at the bottom of each page.
  • Complete the registration process for anyone else you want to register. Add payment information if applicable, then select “Finish.”
