Clips for Cancer 2024

We are inspired to raise funds because all kids matter, they are our future!

I fought cancer alongside Adyn. He was my best friend. We would play video games together, build Lego and usually be in each other’s treatment room playing when we were both inpatient. Now that I am cancer free I wanted to honor Adyn and have asked his little sister Abby to do the honors and shave my head for Clips for Cancer.

I was 12 years old and was told I have leukemia on my mom’s birthday in 2018. There were so many times I was so sick and the one thing that got my family through this journey aside from my friendship with Adyn and his whole family was the support of Barbara’s Friends and the team of doctors and nurses on the oncology floor at Golisano.

“Barbara’s Friends is one of the best things a kid and the family can ask for during cancer. They help the parent and siblings to make sure they can all get through this together. Sometimes kids are not fortunate enough to have someone there with them all the time but Barbara’s Friends makes it so you can have someone there to be by your side when nobody can through all the resources, fun and support they provide.”
