We are inspired to raise funds because all kids matter, they are our future!
Cape Coral firefighters are always ready to answer the call…from putting out fires to medical response to cats in trees to hazardous materials mitigation and so much more! Now, three of our firefighters, along with our facilities coordinator who ensures firefighters’ stations and equipment are in top notch shape, are responding to a different call…the call to help children battling cancer and other blood disorders. Lieutenant Jason Spinner, Lieutenant Steve Hernden, Firefighter Donnie Farah, and Fire Facilities Coordinator Berne Lefebvre have volunteered to have their heads shaved by kids receiving treatment at Golisano Children’s Hospital AND to raise money for this privilege. But they need your help to reach their goal of at least $5000 that will be donated to Barbara’s Friends to support the programs, services, and equipment our local pediatric patients and their families need!
