A world beyond kids cancer

Smiles, laughs tears and emotion, are all in a day’s work when you volunteer with Coast to Coast.  But bringing smiles to the children is a very special moment.

Coast to Coast Against Cancer Foundation believes in a world beyond kids cancer.  They're invested in improving the survival rate and quality of life of children and their families impacted by childhood cancer.  They do this by conducting a series of high quality, memorable, physically challenging, national and regional events that encourage an active and healthy lifestyle.  From cycling events to team-building activities, Coast to Coast raises necessary funding for worthy childhood cancer charities across Canada whose programs support children with cancer, and their families.

This year, I am volunteering for the National Kids Cancer Ride. It is our biggest event! I will be going across Canada to support & contribute to the safety of the National Riders who, together with myself are raising monies to fund research and support programs at pediatric oncology centres across Canada (including the IWK in Halifax).

Kids cancer sucks! I know firsthand - My youngest son Simon died from childhood Leukemia in 2014.  Kids cancer is ugly & it robs kids of their childhoods & often their lives! If I can save even 1 family from having to hear “Your child has cancer”…then it is all worth it.

Please donate and help me reach my fundraising goal.
