Together, we build homes & change lives.

In 2021 I joined my first Habitat for Humanity cycling event. We cycled up the western shore of Lake Winnipeg, and then we turned around and cycled back down the same route to get home. We slept at camps, ate by the side of the road, and raised quite a lot of money to build a home for a family here in Winnipeg.  And I was hooked. I was hooked on cycling long(er) distances, on the camaraderie and community of cyclists and support crew on the road, and on the thought that doing something as enjoyable as a bicycle tour could raise enough money to permanently benefit a family.

The next year, I signed up again. And the next, and the next, and now it is time for the 2026 Habitat for Humanity Manitoba Cycle of Hope.

Please help me – again – to use my sore legs to build a home.
