Fundraising 101
100% of the proceeds from CU4kids stays local to provide resources and assistance to children with health challenges by:
- financial assistance through the Family/Individual Grant covering medications, medical equipment, and cost covering child's treatment.
- emergency travel assistance-related to hospital to hospital transfers assisting guardians to get to their child.
- child life programs-help children cope with the emotional challenges of hospitalization by offering therapeutic play, education, and support to both children and their families.
- neonatal/pediatric intensive care units-maintain and improve NICUs and PICUs, ensuring that critically ill or premature babies receive the best care possible. While also providing equipment to the parents to be able to see their child on camera while they are away from the bedside.
Encourage your team members to raise money to help local sick and injured children! Show them the way by being a top fundraiser yourself and helping them set up their personal fundraising page. Every team member receives a personal fundraising page and has the capability to correspond with supporters through email. We suggest adding a link to your fundraising page on your business email signature line and social network sites.
Online vs. Offline Fundraising
An online donation is made by credit card through your team or personal fundraising page. These gifts, if made on your behalf, automatically update your fundraising total.
An offline donation is made when a donor makes a gift by cash or check. In order for your team to receive credit for these donations. you must turn them in to the HCHF office in person or by mail. Please note the participant and/or team name.
