Cut for a Cause supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego
Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego

As we are working our way through the COVID-19 crisis, everyone at the Dave and Jeff Show would like to turn this negative into a positive. That’s why we are putting together the “Cut For a Cause”.

Later this year, in conjunction with San Diego's Ronald McDonald House, we will all get together to have our shaggy locks trimmed. The hair will be gathered up and sent to Compassionate Creations to make wigs for kids and adults currently going through chemotherapy treatment.

San Diego's Ronald McDonald House

The Ronald McDonald House provides a "home away from home" for families with children in local hospitals.

Each night, 56 families find a room to lay their weary heads just steps from their child across the street in the hospital. Over 1,000 families call San Diego's Ronald McDonald House home each year.

Every day, the Ronald McDonald House is open to any parent with a child in the hospital. These parents come for a hot meal, free of charge, a warm shower and new clothes, or just a quiet place to escape for a moment. Over 13,000 people find comfort at the House each year.

During this time of uncertainty, the House has remained open to serve families with the most critically ill children whose treatments can't wait for COVID-19 to pass and continues to provide to-go meals for those families with hospitalized children.

Compassionate Creations

Hair donations will benefit Compassionate Creations, an organization that specializes in creating custom wigs for kids and adults going through chemotherapy treatment.
