Nope! The Give Me Shelter Color 5K is a noncompetitive, nontimed race that you can enjoy with friends and family. You can run, walk, skip, or even cart wheel to the finish line!
If you are ages 6 and up, there is a $25 registration free. If you are 16 or older, in addition to the $25 registration fee, there is a $100 minimum fundraising requirement. The registration fee counts towards the $100 requirement. For more information about registration, click HERE.
Yes! Strollers and friendly pets are allowed to join you in this fun race. Children 5 and under can participate for free with family members. Children 6-15 must pay the $25 registration fee and anyone 16 and older must raise a minimum of $100 along with the $25 registration free.
You can bring your cash or check donations with you to Packet Pick-Up or on race day. If one of your donors would like a receipt for their cash donation, make sure to provide us with their contact information.
Yes! If you and your friends or family would like to participate as a team to help each other raise money and have fun together, you are more than welcome! You can have as many people as you would like on your team. Everyone on the team still must meet the $100 fundraising minimum individually.
You can pick up your t-shirt and sunglasses at Packet Pick-Up on Friday, May 6th from 5:30-7:00 pm at Moncks Corner Recreational Complex. If you can't make it that evening, you can pick them up on race day. Click HERE for more information about Packet Pick-Up.
You will receive an email every time you reach an incentive with instructions on how to claim your prize. We will have your $100 incentive waiting for you to pick up either at Packet Pick-up or on race day. All other incentives will be mailed to you directly, but you must follow the link provided in your incentive email to claim your prize. Click HERE to check all the incentives you could earn!
