I have teamed up with Jesse Byrd to raise money for families with a child on cancer treatment and childhood cancer research.
Angie Woods is a House Principal at McCracken County High School. She loves working with kids of all ages and has worked with students from KG through high school. In addition to a career in education, Angie loves to spend time with her two kids, travel, run with her husband and running buddies, binge-watch Netflix, and of course, dance. She and her husband Steven recently took over ownership of The Studio by Woods & Company, where she hopes to help others discover their love for dance. She’s dancing this year in hopes of raising funds for local families so that parents can give 100% of their attention to caring for their children affected by cancer. “I feel it’s the least I can do. I’m blessed so far not to have had a child with childhood cancer, but if I did, I hope someone would step up and help my family.”
