My name is Dr. Christopher Sperry, and I am honored to participate in Dancing for Gold® to help raise support for children and families battling cancer. Currently, I work for Baptist Health in Crestwood, KY. I previously lived in Paducah and worked at Mercy Health from 2012 to 2019. My wife, Trisha, and I have been married for 19 years and are the parents of Kaleb (16), Luke (12), and Cameron (10).
My life has been shaped by cancer both personally and professionally. I had a friend in my early childhood who was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. During his battle, he was treated at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. I remember visiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to see him. It was at that moment the dream of medicine had been planted. Although I did not know exactly how this dream would take shape, I was driven to help fight cancer. During my career professionally, I have helped patients complete cancer screenings and navigate cancer diagnoses.
When asked to participate in this cause, I was excited to help support others in their journey in their fight against cancer. Please join me to support families battling cancer.
