Dancing for Gold® 2027 supporting Book for Hope®

I dance with a purpose-rooted in love and driven by community.
I am honored to participate in Dancing for Gold® to support Book for Hope. As an educator, I see every day how deeply our children need support, encouragement, and hope. This cause is one that is close to my heart. I am dancing in honor of Emily Dulworth and in memory of Hudson Pace, carrying their stories with me every step of the way.
In my role as a teacher, I have the privilege of working closely with students and families every day, and my love for education runs deep. At Heath Elementary, my school feels like family, and we care deeply about every student who walks through our doors. I’ve seen firsthand how illness impacts not just a child, but an entire community, and I’ve watched our school and my home of Ballard community support families facing childhood cancer. Those experiences have strengthened my passion for showing up, loving others well, and being part of something bigger than myself.
I used to be an active runner and proudly supported St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as a Hero during their half marathon. While health challenges have kept me from running lately, my commitment to supporting children and families has never changed. Dancing for Gold® has given me a new way to continue that mission, one that brings our local community together to support families right here at home.
I am married to the love of my life, Adam. We have two wonderful children, Grant and Reese. Being involved in our church, Grace Church of LaCenter, is important to us. We are also a volleyball-loving family. Adam has served as the head volleyball coach at Ballard Memorial for 18 years, and together we are the directors of Purchase Area Volleyball held at the Paducah-McCracken Convention Center. Whether through education, faith, or sports, our passion is creating spaces where people feel supported, encouraged, and connected.
I believe in the power of community and in showing up for one another. Through this opportunity, I hope to honor Emily, remember Hudson, and help bring hope, support, and encouragement to every family walking this journey.
