Dancing for Gold® 2027 supporting Book for Hope®

“People know me for burgers, movies, and good times at the drive-in. But behind every family night out is something we sometimes take for granted — healthy children. I will be dancing for the kids and families who are fighting for more moments together.”
Born with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for bringing people together, I am the owner and operator of the Calvert Drive-In Theater, a local landmark that has been creating memories for families for generations. Whether it's serving our famous burgers, showing movies under the stars, or creating new experiences for our guests, I enjoy finding unique ways to make life more fun and memorable.
Previously running the theater, I managed my real estate brokerage and appraisal company, MOVE Realty and spent 14 years building a career in real estate, helping families find places to call home. I've always believed in thinking outside the box, embracing new ideas, and pursuing opportunities that bring people together.
Community involvement has been an important part of my life. I previously served on the board of Family Service Society and helped organize the Iron Mom Half Marathon, both of which allowed me to support causes that make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Giving back to the community I call home is something I value deeply.
When I'm not working, you'll likely find me enjoying the outdoors, admiring hot rods, or spending time with my family. My wife and our four-year-old daughter keep life exciting, and thanks to them, there's always a little Disney magic in our house.
I'm honored to participate in Dancing for Gold® and support Book for Hope in their mission to assist children and families affected by childhood cancer. It's a privilege to be part of an event that brings our community together for such an important cause.
