​Every Loyola Don benefits from dollars raised from this effort as the Loyola Fund bolsters co-curricular activities, inspires service and spiritual retreat offerings, and delivers valuable financial assistance and scholarships. In short – your support will ensure that our Dons Go Forth and Set the World on Fire!

GOAL

Raise $75,000 for the Loyola Fund
from over 400 supporters in 24 hours.

CHALLENGES

School Drop-off Challenge

If we raise over $10,000 by 9:00 a.m., a generous benefactor from the Class of 1964 will make a leadership gift of $1,500.

1852 Challenge

When we raise $18,520, a leadership level donation of $1,500 from an alumnus of the Class of 1970 will be unlocked.

Live the Fourth Challenge

If we raise over $40,000 by 4:00 p.m., a generous supporter from the Class of 1978 has agreed to make an additional leadership gift of $4,000.

175 Challenge

When we surpass 175 total donors, an anonymous alumni family will make a major gift of $5,000.

Roll Dons Roll Challenge

When we surpass 300 total donors and $50,000, an anonymous alumni family has agreed to make a major gift of $20,000.

NEW SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The Rollins-Luetkemeyer Foundation has presented Loyola Blakefield a challenge gift opportunity in support of a new scholarship fund at Loyola to assist middle-class families who qualify for financial aid and whose joint household incomes are between $75,000 and $150,000 annually. If Loyola can collectively raise $500,000 in new gifts to support this new scholarship initiative by January 2024, the Foundation will gift Loyola $250,000. To designate your Day of the Don gift to this exciting new scholarship opportunity, please enter "RL Scholarship Program" in the gift designation field. 

PRIZES

Class of 2023 Graduation Package

Two winners will each receive five front row tickets to graduation.

Minimum $50 donation for an entry. Must indicate Class of 2023 parent on the giving form. One entry per household.

Maryland Package

One lucky winner will receive an "All Things Maryland" gift package, including a $100 gift card to Jimmy's Famous Seafood and $50 to a local brewery.

Open to all benefactors 21+. You do not need to be a Maryland resident to win.

Alumni Class Happy Hour

The highest participating alumni class during Day of the Don will receive a complimentary happy hour prior to the 2023 Alumni Bull Roast.
