2. Share your support of DogFest Texas on social media - tag us using #canineDogFest
3. Mark your calendar for October 2, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Grab your family, friends and dogs and enjoy a day full of fun activities and inspiration!
DogFest Texas - Dallas event day schedule:
11am: Event begins and vendor booths open.
11:10am: Welcome, South Central Region Executive Director Michelle Davison.
11:20am: School of Rock performs.
11:50am: Walk and Roll begins.
12:00pm: Recognition of all puppy raisers.
12:10pm: A graduate, Lauren Taylor, presents on impact of having a Canine Companion dog.
12:20pm: Musical Dog Sits Game on stage.
12:35pm: School of Rock.
1:05pm: Dog Training Demo
1:15pm: Dog Contests – size of dog; costume.
1:25 pm: Intro of Graduate Team.
1:35pm: Scavenger Hunt drawing for grand prize.
1:40pm: Closing and Thank you to our generous sponsors, vendors, fundraisers, volunteers and supporters!
2:00pm: Vendor booths close.
1:45 – 2:15 pm: Closing set by School of Rock.
Please note: All dogs must be on a leash at all times. Use good judgement regarding the temperament of your pet dog so DogFest Texas will be enjoyable for everyone.
