Mutt March is the only dog festival of its kind along the Treasure Coast, and we welcome you to join with us as we celebrate at Memorial Park on Saturday, January 24! There will be a variety of activities including a Morning Walk, Blessing of the Animals, HSTC Doggy Debuts, a Costume Contest and Flea-less Vendor Market with all sorts of steals and deals! Pawlitics are ruff, so this year, for the first time ever, The Humane Society of the Treasure Coast is proud to announce the naming the first Honorary Dog Mayor of Palm City! That’s right, you heard it here first folks! Who better to run our beautiful city than a trustworthy and reliable four-legged friend? This year's candidates want freedom and yummy treats for all! Browse through this year's candidates and cast your vote by October 31! Each vote you submit increases your favorite canine candidate's chances of winning the 2026 Honorary Dog for May election.
The official Honorary Dog Mayor of Palm City will be announced at Mutt March on Saturday, Jan. 24 shortly after the event starts. The new Mayor will receive some major perks including a framed picture in the shelter lobby, recognition on HSTC’s Mutt March webpage, a shout out on the Mutt March Facebook page and a basket full of goodies for the winner!
