Welcome to DREAM’s Coast-2-Camp Virtual Relay!
Part fundraiser, part celebration, we hope you will join us in our annual fundraiser!
You are part of a growing group of fundraisers coming together to support, in a myriad of ways, DREAM’s mission of closing the opportunity gap for youth in low-income housing. Please REGISTER, by clicking the registration button above or on a team below. Every new register from now through November 1st will earn $25 towards your team's goal!
You will embark on an epic adventure as we move our DREAM buses (virtual-electric of course) from the West Coast back to Camp DREAM in Northern Vermont, in time for the new year of adventures.
DREAM’s Coast-2-Camp Virtual Relay Fundraiser takes place over the course of the 8 weeks (Monday, November 14th to Sunday, January 8th), just in time for DREAM to kick off the New Year. There will be lots of costumes and camaraderie, and plenty of fun challenges as we “move” across the country, through our 5 different DREAM regions, and up to Camp DREAM.
Our journey will start in Los Angeles, moving along the famous historic Route 66. From Chicago, we will head east to Philadelphia and then north towards the Camp DREAM adventure base. Each team will move approximately 3,500 miles!
There are multiple teams participating, each with a different impact initiative (supporting overnight camp, raising scholarship funds, investing in summer enrichment or mentoring, and more).
Each dollar you raise moves your bus a half mile. There will be occasional additional options and challenges for moving your bus faster as well. Throughout your journey, you will have the opportunity to participate in team activities for mileage boosts and earn badges and prizes. The first team to Camp DREAM will receive $1,000 boost to their team's fundraising!
After registering, you will receive a race DREAM t-shirt and a welcome letter. After kicking off your fundraising, you will receive a certificate for a free pint of ice cream from our partners at Ben and Jerry's!
At the center of this event is the opportunity for us to raise critical funding for DREAM’s operations. We look forward to seeing you on the road soon!
