Erie Neighborhood House Inaugural 4K – Virtual Event
Hosted by our Young Professionals Associate Board, this virtual 4K is designed to raise awareness about Erie Neighborhood House and its vital work, both on social media and beyond. October is Mental Health Awareness Month, and as part of this campaign, we’re highlighting the importance of physical activity, like walking and running, as powerful stress relievers.
Participants will have the opportunity to not only engage in an empowering physical challenge but also to support Erie Neighborhood House’s mental health and counseling services, which provide critical support to individuals and families in our community. Join us for this meaningful event and help raise awareness for mental health while expanding the impact of Erie Neighborhood House.
Since 1870, Erie Neighborhood House has provided the most comprehensive support immigrant and low-income families in Chicago need to thrive and has constantly evolved to meet their needs.
Today, Erie House is a modern social services nonprofit with programming and resources for children & youth, mental health & community wellness, adult education & training, legal services, and more.
Through these programs, we empower the people we work alongside to build powerful communities.
