Why Your Support Matters

The mission of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation is to find cures for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, and to improve the quality of life for children and adults affected by these chronic diseases.

For over 50 years, the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation has supported critical research, investing over $368 million towards finding cures and better treatment for these diseases. We are proud to recognize that The Foundation has been involved in every major breakthrough in IBD research.

By funding The Foundation, you are supporting the 103,000 chronically ill patients living in the Philadelphia/Delaware Valley region as well as dedicated scientists and medical professionals who are advancing research in IBD, including at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. The Philadelphia/Delaware Valley Chapter raises over $1.8 million annually to support these efforts.

On Saturday, November 2nd, guests will attend the Philadelphia/Delaware Valley Chapter’s largest annual special event, An Evening of Hope - Shooting for the Stars, at Vie by Cescaphe in Philadelphia.

The evening includes hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, plated dinner, inspirations videos from our honorees, live music, dancing and more! The annual gala features incredible raffle items, a silent auction with over 100 packages and professional auctioneer. Our goal is to raise $585,000 to advance research, education, and patient support programs to achieve our vision of a future free from Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Today, millions of Americans are impacted by these debilitating diseases.
