Approximately 3.1 million Americans are living with Crohn's disease & ulcerative colitis. That is every 1 in 100 Americans affected by these incurable diseases. The highest growing population of those being diagnosed are those under the age of 18.
The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation is the leading nonprofit organization dedicated to finding cures for Crohn's disease & ulcerative colitis, and to improving the lives of patients and their families. Over 80 cents of every dollar raised goes to supporting our mission. With your help, a cure is possible in our lifetime.
Update 12/7: Online fundraising is closed, but you can still donate by check, donor advised fund, or credit card by emailing Ryan Boyce at rboyce@crohnscolitisfoundation.org. Thank you for your amazing support.
One of the great challenges of IBD is that no two patients are alike. While there are commonalities in disease presentation, what works for one patient often fails another with little to no indication as to why. By coming together as a collective we have an opportunity to harness the power of our individual experiences and stories to highlight the complexities of these diseases while simultaneously increasing the impact on our mission. We are not raising funds for a single issue, a program, or a study. Instead, we are a collection of families committed to coming together for the common good: fueling the work that will ultimately bring relief to all who suffer with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. In simpler terms, we’re uniting to fund a cure!
