On April 23, 2026 we will be holding our annual Faces of Adoption® Gala. The live program hosted by Betty Smithsonian will include inspiring speakers, cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, food stations, and a LIVE AUCTION! City Winery is located at Pier 57, Chelsea Piers, New York, NY 10011.

Betty Smithsonian is a comic, creator, performer, entertainer and award winning goof.  She was once named in the New York Times as a "Freelance Clown". Betty was the winner of "Best of Philly - Up and Coming Comedian, 2019".  As an adoptive parent, she is honored to support Helpusadopt.org. Betty, her wife, and son reside in the Philadelphia area.

Sponsor guests and VIP ticket holders are invited to attend a special VIP Reception from 6:30pm to 7pm. General entry will begin at 7pm.

Helpusadopt.org is a national 501(c)(3) financial grant program that helps couples/individuals (regardless of race, religion, gender, ethnicity, marital status or sexual orientation) with the cost of their adoptions by awarding large, life-changing grants. Since 2007 they have awarded 1,000 adoption grants totaling over $11 million.
