Helpusadopt.org cordially invites you and your loved ones to join us for an inspiring evening in celebration of the adoption community and the families we have built together nationwide!

On April 23, 2025 we will be holding our annual Faces of Adoption® Spring Gala. The gala will include an in person cocktail reception in New York City and a virtual livestream beginning at 7:45 pm ET.​

The live program hosted by Betty Smithsonian will feature a speech from a Helpusadopt.org grant recipient family as well as messages from Helpusadopt.org families nationwide. It is free to register for the livestream. 

Betty Smithsonian is a comic, creator, performer, entertainer and award winning goof.  She was once named in the New York Times as a "Freelance Clown". Betty was the winner of "Best of Philly - Up and Coming Comedian, 2019".  As an adoptive parent, she is honored to support Helpusadopt.org. Betty, her wife, and son reside in the Philadelphia area.

Tickets are required to attend the in-person cocktail reception at City Winery, Pier 57 in New York City. The New York City reception on April 23rd will include inspiring speakers, cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, food stations, and a LIVE AUCTION! City Winery is located at Pier 57, Chelsea Piers, New York, NY 10011.

Sponsor guests and VIP ticket holders are invited to attend a special VIP Reception from 6:30pm to 7pm. General entry will begin at 7pm.

Helpusadopt.org is a national 501(c)(3) financial grant program that helps couples/individuals (regardless of race, religion, gender, ethnicity, marital status or sexual orientation) with the cost of their adoptions by awarding large, life-changing grants. Since 2007 they have awarded 845 grants totaling over $8.32 million.
