GiGi’s Playhouse Fargo is a Down Syndrome Achievement Center serving individuals with Down syndrome (pre-natal diagnosis through adulthood) and their families in the Fargo-Moorhead and surrounding communities. GiGi’s Playhouse Fargo is one of 49 national centers in the United States and Mexico supporting the following mission and vision:

Our Mission: To change the way the world views Down syndrome and send a global message of acceptance of all.

Our Vision: To see a world where individuals with Down syndrome are accepted and embraced in their families, schools, and communities.

Since opening our doors in September 2015, GiGi’s Playhouse Fargo has impacted over 140 families. All programming, activities, resources, and support offered through GiGi’s are provided at no cost to individuals or families. GiGi’s firmly adheres to the philosophy that cost will never be a barrier to success of individuals with Down syndrome.

Due to COVID-19 pandemic in person programs at the Playhouse were suspended, but that did not stop GiGi’s Playhouse Fargo in serving our families! Ten days after physically closing our doors GiGi’s at Home launched to provide the same purposeful programs safely in families homes! In 2020, we all have experienced pushing through barriers, and we need you now more than ever to help us continue to provide our families resources and the support they need!
