Through generous philanthropy and community-wide support, Golisano Children's Hospital opened its doors in 2017 with a mission to deliver vital and lifesaving care for children and families in our region. Southwest Florida continues to grow rapidly, accelerating the need for expanded and new children's healthcare programs and services.

As the only children's hospital in Southwest Florida, Golisano treats every child, regardless of the family's ability to pay. Your philanthropy helps us serve families in our area, as well as fund dynamic programs and services for our youngest population, from the NICU to childhood cancer to mental health. When you support pediatric services at Lee Health, you are helping provide quality, world-class care closer to home for our children in our community.

As our region continues to grow, there is an incredible demand for a specialized pediatric surgical center. Last year, approximately 4,200 outpatient pediatric surgeries and procedures were performed at HealthPark Medical Center to treat fractures, tonsillectomies, adenoidectomies, ENT conditions, orthopedic maladies, appendectomies and more.

The new Golisano Children’s Hospital Surgery Center will provide world-class, compassionate care in a welcoming environment. The new surgery center will directly benefit children and families by reducing wait times, increasing efficiencies, lowering costs, and improving access to emergency services.
