Our fundraising goal of $100,000 for Family CARES will help us provide free, bilingual mental health services to our Settlement community through the distribution of Therapy Kits. Tailored to individual clients, Therapy Kits include therapeutic materials such as journals, art supplies, and therapy games as well as technological supplies such as hot spots, data cards, and headphones. We all deserve access to quality and supportive mental health care. 

Gala to Go: A Virtual Fundraiser for the Northwestern Settlement is proud to put the spotlight on the importance of mental health. The Family CARES Center, this year's beneficiary of our fundraiser, provides free, bilingual on-site mental health counseling and family wellness services to members of the Settlement community. 

Mental illness affects one in five people, so it is quite likely that everyone reading this has a spouse, a child, a relative, or a friend who has been touched by mental illness. Studies show that the challenges that adults with mental illness face are made more difficult if they are living in poverty.
