How Your Support Makes a Difference

Marklund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves infants, children, teens and adults with serious and profound developmental disabilities and special healthcare needs.
Marklund owns and operates three campuses in the Chicago metropolitan area : The Marklund Philip Center in Bloomingdale, the Marklund Hyde Center in Geneva, and the Marklund Wasmond Center in Elgin.
Marklund’s three primary programs offered at all three campuses are: HOMES with 24-hour nursing care for children and adults with severe and profound developmental disabilities; SCHOOLS with individualized programming for children with medically complex developmental disabilities and students diagnosed on the autism spectrum; and COMMUNITY DAY SERVICES – a pre-vocational training program for adults with developmental disabilities.
Marklund continues to step forward with open arms to meet the needs families face when their loved one has special needs. Dedicated to treating each individual with dignity and giving them a voice, Marklund provides the highest quality of care – above and beyond state requirements.
This “Marklund Standard of Care" is not fully covered by the State of IL,  leaving us a service  gap of approximately $15,290 per individual, per year. We need your help to close this funding gap!
100% of net proceeds from this event will be applied toward this gap in funding, to support Marklund’s residential programs and services.

Thank you to our generous sponsors
