Thank you so much for signing up to host a livestream fundraiser this January as part of our Get Fit for No Kid Hungry campaign - we are thrilled to have you on board! Your support and the funds raised during your stream will play a significant role in our mission to feed hungry kids across America. In the wake of the coronavirus, they need us now more than ever!

Here are a few next steps to help you get started:

PICK A DATE & CHANNEL

Decide when and where you would like to host your fundraising livestream(s) and be sure to let us know so we can add you to our Get Fit Calendar that we plan to promote to our network.

SELECT YOUR FUNDRAISING TOOLS

As part of your registration, a personal fundraising page has been created for you on our Get Fit website.Your fundraising page is now available for you to view and share widely with your network. You can access your personal fundraising page here: {{participantUrl}}. Remember, you can customize and make additional changes at any time by clicking {{participantEditUrl}}.

We also know that many social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok and Facebook offer their own fundraising tools. If you choose to use fundraising tools instead, no problem! Please just let us know so we can be sure to add your fundraising total to your personal page on the site. Many of those platforms share limited data, so we won’t be able to track donors back to your fundraiser.

PROMOTE, PROMOTE, PROMOTE

As you get closer to the date of your livestream, it’s important to let your community know that you are hosting by posting several times leading up to and the day of your stream. Stay tuned for the Participant Resource Toolkit that will include social media assets, talking points, fundraising tips and more.

When you’re ready to go live, we encourage you to follow our Livestream Fundraising Best Practices. Remember that every $1 you raise during your stream can help us connect a child to up to 10 meals!
