We are so grateful to you for signing up to lend your time and talent to helping us raise funds for hungry kids this January! Your support and the funds raised will play a significant role in our mission to feed hungry kids across America. Together we can truly get fit and give back to ensure our nation's kids get to live the happy, healthy lives they deserve.

Now that your page is ready, here are a few next steps:

UPDATE YOUR PAGE
We created your page using the headshot and name you shared with us and our default campaign copy; however, you are welcome to customize and make additional changes to your page by clicking {{participantEditUrl}}. Here are just a few examples of personal updates others have made to their pages in the past:

Tell people why No Kid Hungry is important to you!
Add details about your livestream to include date, time and focus
Increase your fundraising goal! The default is $1,000, but we encourage to increase it now or if you're close to hitting it in January!
Offer incentives for those who donate to your page (we can share additional best practices on this if you're interested)
NOTE: This is only possible to execute if you're driving people to donate to your page vs. the fundraising tools native to Instagram. We do not get donor names when Instagram's fundraising tools are used.
Share any other ways you want to inspire your community to get fit and give back with you in January - such as month long fitness challenges!

And don't forget that you can easily create a TEAM page if you want to allow your network to fundraise alongside you! Simply let me know if you're interested in this and we'll get you set up!

PROMOTE, PROMOTE, PROMOTE

Last year we found that many of our participants hit or exceeded their goals before they even went live by simply promoting their fundraising page beforehand. Regardless of when you are going live in January, we highly encourage you to start promoting and sharing your fundraising page on January 1st and throughout the entire month.

Once you schedule your actual stream, be sure to promote it to your network several times beforehand so they can save the date and join! And a reminder the day of helps drive folks to join too!

Stay tuned for Our Participant Resource Toolkit we will send you before the campaign launches in January. It will include customizable social media assets, talking points, fundraising tips and more!

WHEN YOU GO LIVE

When you’re ready to go live, we encourage you to follow our Livestream Fundraising Best Practices. Remember that every $1 you raise during your stream can help provide 10 meals to kids!

We also know that many social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok and Facebook offer their own fundraising tools. If you choose to use their fundraising tools instead, no problem! Please just let us know so we can be sure to add your fundraising total to your personal page on the site. Many of those platforms share limited data, so we won’t be able to track donors back to your fundraiser.
