September 12, 2024, we will come together to support youth of Bellevue through Boys & Girls Clubs. It's a day for us to unite around something bigger than ourselves, and link arms to create BIG impact.
This year, all dollars raised will go directly to providing scholarships for families who otherwise would not have a childcare option. With cost-of-living rising and wage gaps increasing, scholarships are needed now more than ever.
Every dollar counts - gifts of any size make a difference! It is the collective efforts of many that will drive change that day. Whether it's $1 or $1,000, every dollar impacts the trajectory of our Bellevue youth.
It's back-to-school season and we need your help to give our Bellevue kids and teens the Great Futures they deserve. For countless families, the return to school brings uncertainty and the need for safe, enriching environments outside of school hours. That’s where Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue steps in.
Our after-school programs offer a sanctuary for kids, places where they can learn, grow, and explore new interests under the guidance of caring adults. We are committed to ensuring all children can attend our programs regardless of their family's financial situation.
Bellevue Families Need Us Like Never Before
- Over the past 2 years we have seen a huge increase in the demand for scholarships and we are on track to distribute over $2.5M in scholarships in 2024 to keep up with the demand.
- We have seen 2.2x more kids last year than the year before.
- The wealth disparity and thus the opportunity gap is wider than ever for kids in our community.
- 4,324 Bellevue children are facing hunger.
- 708 Bellevue children are experiencing homelessness.
- Over 60% of our kids receive scholarship support because they would not otherwise be able to attend. Even still, we have 60 children on our waitlist, hoping they receive scholarships so they can attend.
