Virtual Gift of Life 5K Run and 1-Mile Walk to benefit Hattie Larlham

Due to COVID-19, the Gift of Life 5K Run and Walk is now a virtual event, and we are excited to offer registrants the opportunity to still participate as an individual or a team! The health and safety of our community is our top priority and while we cannot run/walk/roll together this year, we hope you will still consider taking part in the event and supporting the critical programs provided by Hattie Larlham.

HOW IT WORKS

Register as an individual, or create a team, for the Virtual Gift of Life 5K Run and Walk

Set up your fundraising page and share with your family and friends. Ask them to join you in supporting Hattie Larlham and people with disabilities.

Complete your run or walk on your own - when you want and where you want! Simply run 3.1 mile or walk 1 mile, any time between September 12 and September 30.

We will ship the official Gift of Life 5K Run and Walk event t-shirt (and some other goodies) right to your door. UPDATE 9/18: T-shirts have been mailed out to all registrants - but we have a very limited number remaining for new registrants. Size availability will appear during the registration process. We apologize for the inconvenience!

We encourage you to wear you t-shirt when you complete your run or walk - and take a selfie as you do it! Be sure to tag your selfie with #Run4Hattie - we will share on our social media channels and select random people for fun prizes!

Once you've complete your run or walk, you can submit your time (or just your completion date if you walked) online. We will be sending you the online form at the beginning of the race window (September 12 - September 30), but you can also use this link.

Invite your friends and family to support your run or walk, or encourage them to register and join you! Since the event is virtual, anyone can do it no matter where they live! Registration will remain open until September 30.

Hattie Larlham creates opportunities for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We provide medical, residential, recreational and work training services to 1,600 Northeast and Central Ohio people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
