Our goal for Give MICC is to raise $100,000 to support programs and participants in discovering and building what they say matters most - authentic friendships and relationships, purposeful employment, confidence, a sense of belonging, and a home.
MICC is honored to accept a challenge grant from Phil and Jill Lighty in honor of MICC participants and staff. You can support MICC’s challenge grant in the following ways:
Minnesota Independence College and Community (MICC) is a nonprofit vocational and life skills training program for autistic and neurodivergent adults. For over 25 years, our unique campus in Richfield, Minnesota, has offered participants who desire to grow their independence the opportunity to engage in hands-on learning, education, support, and resources. Our programs deliver curriculum and services in the areas of independent living skills, social and emotional learning, career skills and employment, and healthy living.
We offer five distinct programs starting with our Summer Program, leading to our three-year College Program, and next, with our life-long Community Program. Finally, our vibrant Careers and Social Programs are integrated into our summer, three-year, and life-long program options.
We invite you to learn more about MICC by visiting our social media platforms @miccbullogs and www.miccommunity.org.

Friends of MICC,
Yesterday, you and over 150 supporters came together to raise more than $100,000, exceeding our Give to the Max Day goal! Over 70% of donors shared that they were encouraged to give by another person, many of whom were MICC staff.
We are overjoyed to have unlocked both of the generous challenge grants from the Lighty Family in honor of participants and staff totaling $40,000 in matching funds. Achieving our goal would not have been possible without Jill and Phil Lighty's unwavering commitment to MICC's mission.
Thank you for believing in the MICC programs that support autistic and neurodivergent adults in discovering and building what they say matters most - authentic friendships and relationships, purposeful employment, confidence, a sense of belonging, and a home.
Thank you for sharing what MICC does with your colleagues, friends, and family.
Thank you for being a part of what matters.
