Riding to Conquer Cancer
Who said we can't Ride for Cancer this year?
Welcome to my Personal Fundraising Page!
So Covid 19 has forced the cancellation of the big Ride to Conquer Cancer this year. Fine. Wise decision. But cancer isn't quitting and neither am I. Maybe I won't make my 8th 220 km ride this year, but I still have a bike, an open road and a cause. Join me in raising funds to fight Cancer.
My plan is not one big ride, but a series of steady rides with a goal of accumulating 2500 kilometres by summer's end, and to raise $1 per kilometre.
To those of you who have contributed to my ride in the past, thank you. I hope you will consider supporting me with any amount you can...it's a tough economic year all around. And if you have never helped this cause before, well and amount makes a difference.
Thanks for considering this.
Thank you for making life better for Albertans and their families facing cancer.
Here is my daughter and I at last year's Ride to Conquer Cancer start line. It was her third year riding in our support vehicle, helping with gear and being our number 1 cheerleader.
