Q: What is a Virtual Ambassador?
A: Virtual Ambassadors are new in 2021 as a response to the pandemic. They are supporters, advocates, and fundraisers for the Damien Center. Using peer-to-peer fundraising, they will advocate on behalf of the Damien Center as a team or an individual with the goal of raising vital funds to end HIV in Central Indiana.
Q: How do I volunteer the day of the event?
A: We're also recruiting traditional Ambassadors for Dining Out For Life on June 17th! These Ambassadors are a core pillar of #DOFL317, serving as the public face for the Damien Center the day of the event. Ambassadors help promote the event to their friends, family, coworkers, and neighbors and serve as the primary volunteers and advocates the day of the event. All In-Person Ambassadors are assigned to a participating restaurant in teams of two. Ambassadors will be present at the restaurants to talk to patrons about the center's services and to encourage diners to make a donation. Click here to sign-up.
