CAMPAIGN STATEMENT
Every day, thousands of people are forced, defrauded or threatened into commercial sex or forced labor. Human trafficking is happening right here, in our communities.
But Justice At Last is fighting every day to protect trafficked persons' rights. And we need YOUR help. Our annual Giving Justice Campaign helps provide survivors with free, life-changing legal representation and support. Right now, every dollar you donate will be doubled up to $18,000. If you give $50, your actual impact will be $100.
Justice At Last provides free legal services to trafficked persons to help rebuild lives and achieve meaningful justice. What does this mean in practice? Our award-winning attorneys support survivors in over 10 critical areas, including Minor/Youth Protection, Crime Victims’ Rights Enforcement, Restraining Orders and Emergency Child Custody, Post-Conviction Relief, and Immigration Protection.
In 2021 we supported 207 survivors of trafficking and provided 104 clients with full comprehensive legal representation in one or more legal matters. Unfortunately, demand for our services continues to rise in 2022. We are up to the challenge. But we can’t do it alone.
We. Need. Your. Help.
Representing trafficked survivors through our complex legal system costs money - even for a small, lean organization that relies on volunteer and pro bono attorney support. We fund this work through donations from people like you.
All funds raised will go directly to our legal programs to represent, advocate and support trafficked persons. Your contribution will make a real, meaningful difference in the lives of trafficking survivors, helping them seek and achieve justice on their own terms.
We are already in this fight. We could use your support in our corner. Will you join us?
