Why are we hosting Global Play Day?

We are hosting Global Play Day to support our global charity partner Right To Play, and to connect with play; which is at the heart of our business and the very ethos of what Right To Play use to support millions of children every year. What will be happening? 

This years, Global Play Day will be 10 days virtual of virtual activities from 18-27 November. The main aim – to have fun, play games and raise money to change the lives of vulnerable children around the world.


Why do I have to pledge to take part?

Our aim is to bring fun and play to our employees across the world for a whole week but the other main aim is to raise money to help children rise above adversity.


What date is the event?

Global Play Day 2020 is being held from Wednesday 18th November to Friday 27th November, with daily virtual challenges to get involved with.


How Do I Earn Points?

Earn 2 points:

  • For every dollar you donate or raise

    • Earn 50 points: 

  • For completing your profile by uploading your photo 

  • ​For every colleague that accepts your invitation to join. The invitation has to be sent through your Global Play Day account

  • For every daily Global Play Day challenge completed


    • Are There Prizes For Completing The Challenge? What Can I Win?

    At the end of the day, everyone who engages and participates in the challenge is a winner for supporting Right To Play and its mission to protect, educate and empower children and youth. At the end of November, the window for collecting points will be over and we will award top prizes for Leader Board categories.


    Where Do I Find Challenges To Complete?

    Challenges will be released daily and you can find Challenges in the main menu at the top of the page under "Get Started" when you click "Browse Challenges" or in your participant dashboard left hand navigation. Once you've found a Challenge you'd like to complete, click "Accept the Challenge" and follow the prompts. The more Challenges you complete, the more points you earn!


    Can I View My Activity History and Progress?

    Yes, you can view your activity history and progress on your dashboard. Hover over your name at the top, right side of your screen until a drop down menu appears. Click on "Manage My Page" and then click on Dashboard from the left hand navigation.
