September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and Norton Children’s Cancer Institute wants you to show support for our pediatric cancer patients by Glowing Gold!

How to participate:

  1. Take a selfie, or group selfie, with a light (front porch light, flashlight, lantern, etc.) and post it to social media using the #GlowGold #GoGold and #NortonChildrens
  2. Share why you are supporting childhood cancer awareness month
  3. Consider supporting Norton Children’s Cancer Institute and the patients by making a donation

  • In 2019, about 11,060 children in the United States under the age of 15 will be diagnosed with cancer.

  • One in five children diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. will not survive. Approximately 1,800 children and adolescents still die of cancer each year; indicating that new advances and continued research to find effective treatments are needed.
