14th Annual Goals for Giving Hockey Event supporting Merakey Foundation

About the Cause

Over the past 14 years, the Merakey Foundation Goals for Giving Hockey Benefit has raised more than $725,000 to support Merakey programs and services. Funds raised this year will help support the 2019 Merakey IDD (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities) Prom, and other Merakey programs.

How Your Support Makes a Difference

Walking the Red Carpet at the IDD Prom is a highlight of the night for our consumers.

The Merakey Foundation is the charitable arm of Merakey, one of the nation's largest providers of education and human services. Through its fundraising activities, the Foundation enables Merakey to provide exceptional services to the most vulnerable members of our community, despite public funding cuts.

The Flyers Alumni and Team Merakey will take to the ice to support Merakey in a fierce - but friendly - competition on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 1:15 PM. The competition, a fundraiser for the Merakey Foundation, will take place at the Flyers Skate Zone in Northeast Philadelphia (10990 Decatur Road, Philadelphia, PA 19154). The game will be followed by a Meet and Greet Reception at the Southampton Room (2980 Southampton Road, Philadelphia, PA 19154) where guests can interact with Flyers alumni.
