What is Gratitude Rising?
Gratitude Rising is a fresh approach to online nonprofit fundraising that is Gratitude focused:

-- Participants show their gratitude by participating in a virtual 5K Run/Walk and raising funds for their charity of choice through our online virtual event platform.
-- Charity Partners show their gratitude to their participants by providing them with the full Gratitude Rising curriculum designed to educate about the benefits of gratitude, provide the tools and guidance to increase gratitude, and create a community of gratitude oriented individuals working together to help gratitude rise. The ultimate win-win!

What is a Virtual 5K Run/Walk?
A virtual 5K is very much like an actual 5K, it's just spelled differently. We kid. A virtual 5K is where we don't all get together at the same time and place to do our run/walk (anyway, last time we did that, Larry hugged me and he was dripping with sweat). Instead, we each chose a time and place (within a larger period of time) to complete our 5K. This allows many more more people and many more charities to participate. We will also have a live-streamed kickoff and a virtual celebration when completed. You can even upload your photo the virtual finish line so you can brag to your friends. You go, you virtually and actually incredible human, you. We also integrate with Strava, a nifty free fitness tacking app that does not require the purchase of a wearable device. Join our Strava club-- The Gratitude Rising Grinders-- and get updates, training run/walks and lots of other fun stuff.

Does the money I raise go directly to the charity I am supporting?
Yes. Fundraising is never pooled and Gratitude Rising does not take a percentage or any fee related to the money you raise. In fact, the money you raise goes directly to your Charity and never reaches any third party account. Additionally, even your registration fee goes to your Charity. So dig in on that fundraising because every dollar helps (notice no corny jokes there because that is serious stuff).

How can I help my Charity?
There are two ways, to help your charity after registering: 1. reach out to your peers to ask them to donate through your page, and 2. invite your peers to join you by registering and opening their own page.
