Congratulations on completing your first week as a 2023 Great Futures Day ambassador! Today is the perfect day to reach out to your networks and ask them to join you in your fundraising efforts. If you need some tips, make sure to check out our our Great Futures Day Toolkit! Our top three tips are:

1. Personalize your page: Your story is the most powerful reason someone will donate--we have auto-populated a template for you, but feel free to personalize your page with photos, stories, and text!

2. Be the first to donate to your page: By making your own donation, others will see how passionate you are about BGCB and be more likely to donate. It's hard to ask others to give unless you have supported the cause, too!

3. Reach out to your closest contacts first to help build momentum: Asking your closest contacts first is usually a "safe bet." The success will give you a boost and build confidence. It also gives you an opportunity to practice telling the BGCB story.

Remember: Fundraising doesn't have to be scary! Think about how great you feel after contributing to the Club. Your passion for improving the community for the better is palpable. Don't think of it as "asking for money." Instead, you are providing people you know with an opportunity to be involved in something meaningful to you. How neat is that!?
