The Great Gutsby Executive Committee will host its 7th Annual Evening of Hope, which celebrates the resilient IBD Community across all of D.C., Maryland and Virginia! The committee works to raise funds for cures and better treatments for the millions of Americans affected by Inflammatory Bowel Disease.

An estimated 350 guests comprised of executives, patients, caregivers, and friends are expected to attend this typically sold out, fun filled event. So get your fedoras and your feathers ready to join us!

Why Support the Great Gutsby? This event is much more than just a great time. Proceeds from An Evening of Hope at the Great Gutsby Gala benefit the Foundation’s mission to find a cure for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis and to improve the lives of the more than 90,000+ DMV families living with these diseases. The Foundation provides a variety of patient services such as medical research, local support groups, education events and Camp Oasis (a one-week summer camp designed to accommodate children suffering from Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis). With your support, we can continue to provide these life changing programs and services to children and adults battling the debilitating effects of IBD. Let's join together to assure a future free from Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

Parking is available, but limited. As always, we recommend the use of a ride service like Lyft or Uber to ensure you are getting home safely.

Willy Wonka Golden Ticket Reveal. Tickets are now available! Chance to win the golden ticket and two round trip tickets for a two-night stay in Tuscany, Italy hosted by Total Wine & More. Flight and accommodations included. You do not need to be present to win!

Silent Auction. The auction will go live one week prior to the event. Bid on several high-end entertainment, travel, sports packages, etc.
